The updated General Watch Repair Prospectus is now online. We have revised this short course content as, with time constraints we could not train in as much detail as high level training requires so we have created an optional set of 3 days which has got more topics in depth for the trainee to complete at a later stage.
What a week its been for the Jewellers Academy, Yorkshire ! This really is the first chance we’ve had to post since winning a National Award organised by the Retail Jewellers on behalf of the UK Jewellery Industry. As the founder of the Jewellers Academy I simply could not be more proud of the achievement this business has made in such a short time and I thank everyone for the good wishes we have received over the past week it has been unbelievable. The phones have not stopped and we currently have to suspend all short course programs for a few weeks until things settle down...
We can announce after several weeks of negotiation, Orotig Spa, Europes' leading laser equipment manufacturer has agreed terms with the Jewellers Academy, Yorkshire to become Orotig's first official training centre for all of their laser equipment relating to the Jewellery Industry. Orotig based in the Lake Garda region of Verona province distribute their products worldwide of which are known to be of the finest quality in the Industry.
The Jewellers Academy based in the heart of Yorkshire is a unique specialised training centre for the Jewellery sector. Predominately focusing on the training in the repairing and restoration side of the industry the Academy is now gearing up to open its doors to 'Jewellery Making ' evening classes for the general public.

Timothy Roe Fine Jewellery invested in a top of the range Orotig Evo X in 2022 and were that happy with the performance, reliability and easy functionality of the laser welder, they decided to invest in a second machine 12 months later.
