We are proud to announce the National Association of Jewellers have recognized the Jewellers Academy,Yorkshire as an official Jewellery sector Training Center and have now obtained full membership from this prestigious, Association. We would like to thank everyone who have helped us along the way on our journey so far, we could not have done it without each and everyone of you.
Our plan for opening to full capacity remains on schedule with Group B of the 40 week courses starting in the coming weeks now that modifications have been completed to the workshops to accommodate larger numbers.
We feel we have had no option but to offer a third 40 week course due to the popularity shown for this commercially structured in-depth course....this course will operate on a Saturday, we intend to officially announce this on February 10th with interviews /bench tests taking place in March 2023 . We will also be announcing 1 x 25 week course packed with interesting modules on the same date so keep an eye on our Website and social media accounts as there will only be 6 persons per class so trainee /instructor ratio is maintained to insure top quality training . (both courses one day per week)
With the short courses also starting in March things are starting to get busy at the Academy , to include exciting Gemology & diamond grading courses from Yorkshires top Gemologist who has joined the team. (details to follow)
We believe the success of the Academy is because of the commercially structured courses, emphasizing on repairs and restoration to show the trainee how to make a good living within the industry.The progression to manufacture follows only when experience & a high level of hand skills are gained not forgetting the ethos of "quality of work at all times " is ingrained within each trainee's mindset.
We educate all trainees on the best and most modern tools and equipment available from Global leaders in tools and equipment manufacturing, who have affiliated and support the Academy of which we appreciate greatly.
