Level I

Course details: Develop the skills needed to professionally set a stone. You will gain hands on experience with all of the tools required for stone setting. Learn about essential maintenance techniques and the importance of tool care. You will learn how to colour match stones. Using cabochon and tube bezels you will learn how to create a flush and demi-flush settings. Various other types of settings will be used such as claw, grain, pave, and gallary.  



Stone Setting Level II

Level II

Course details: Develop the skills needed to set shaped stones into cabochon bezels. Use different techniques to create square, pear and marquise settings. Learn how to solder, file and shape your bezel in preparation for the setting of all stones. 





Stone Setting Level III

Level III

Course details: Develop the skills needed to achieve pave, channel and collet setting. Projects will include the making of several types of collets including rex, gallary, and cabouchon.
