GENERAL WATCH

REPAIR PART TWO

THREE DAY COURSE

General Watch Repair Part Two Course Overview

The second installment of the watch repair course series builds upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the preceding course, engaging participants in more advanced and profitable watch repair techniques commonly encountered in a modern jeweller’s workshop. It is important to note that acceptance into this course will only be granted to those who have successfully completed Days 1-3 of the General Watch Repair Course.

Previously at this stage in the series we taught watch resealing/proofing but this has been revised to address the observed gaps in knowledge and understanding related to the installation of crowns, glass, pendant tubes, I-gaskets, and gasket kits. We believe it is essential to enhance this course with additional theoretical knowledge and practical skills before introducing waterproofing techniques. Consequently, the Water Reseal module has been pushed forward and will be delivered in the third offering of the series , scheduled for Days 7-9 later this year.
