The Jewellers Academy workshop courses are designed to cover all skill levels, whether a trainee is interested in learning a new trade or upskilling an existing skill set, we can provide this learning at our training centre in East Yorkshire.
Our courses cover a wide range of subjects in the jewellery and watch industry and provide high quality training so you can produce high quality work. Courses are structured and run in groups of 6 students. In special circumstances bespoke one to one or small group training can be arranged. Please read our FAQ’s or contact us for details.

Jewellery Repair, Restoration & Manufacture Level 3 Diploma
40 Week Course
Our 40 week 'Repair & Restoration Goldsmithing' Level 3 course focuses on jewellery repair and restoration. Trainees attend the workshop one day per week with set modules to be learned and optional modules to tailor the course to you. You can read an overview of the course following the link below. Jewellery Repair, Restoration & Manufacture Level 4 Diploma
40 Week Course
Our advanced long training course, which will begin in October 2026 and will take place on Fridays and Saturdays. Follow on higher level courses will be introduced in coming years giving the applicant the opportunity to become a top end goldsmith over a period of time suitable to them. This new introduction is an additional long course to our current offerings: the Level 4 Diploma, which will span weeks 41 to 80. -

2 - 4 Days
Our short courses focus on jewellery & watch repair and restoration. Trainees attend courses for 2-4 days depending on the course. You can read an overview of each of the short courses by following the link below. Prices include all materials used and required for the course. -
Watch Repair & Restoration Short Courses
2 - 4 Days
Our general Watch repair course is a bit different than the others logistics wise. The trainee may pick 1, 2 or all 3 days if they so wish. After the first day each consecutive day is optional.

We are a private specialist training centre providing training and upskilling focusing on repair, restoration and manufacture around all allied trades related to the UK jewellery industry, including Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Gemology, Watchmaking, engraving, CAD Design, diamond setting etc.

All our courses are currently delivered in person so you can learn with the necessary equipment that we provide. Online Courses will be starting in October 2026 and you can sign up now to stay updated.

All our workshop courses take place at our specialist training workshop based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Online courses can be done from your home or business.

Please be aware, our workshop is located on the first and second floor and the only access is via stairs.

At present we run two 40 week Repair, Restoration & Manufacture Diploma Courses in an academic year, we generally interview in November and begin the course in January, we will increase classes in 2026. The longer courses are delivered on a Thursday or a Friday (1 day per week), the short courses are delivered periodically on Mon-Wed in either consecutive days or 1 day per week. You will find upcoming dates for each course on their respective pages as and when they are announced.

The cost varies depending on the course. A range of short courses are available ranging from 2-4 days, as well as a longer 40 week Diploma courses. You can view the courses via the links above and once you have found the course you're interested in you can download the prospectus with the course details and pricing.

Some courses may have a mandatory prerequisite and you may need to carry out a bench test to ensure a certain skill level.
Our Jewellery Repair, Restoration & Manufacture Goldsmithing Level 3 Diploma Course is designed for people with limited to no experience in the trade, teaching you the fundamentals and building your skills throughout the course.

The 40 Week Diploma Course trainees, if successful after a series of bench tests, will be awarded a 'Certified Repair & Restoration Goldsmith' Diploma, this is accredited by our Industry affiliates and the Jewellers Academy quality reputation. All short courses completed by the trainee will receive a completion certificate.

Yes one trainee from the 40 Week Diploma courses will be awarded £1500 worth of tools and equipment for achieving best trainee.

Yes staff can join an upcoming course date if space is available or for larger teams we can provide additional courses in line with your training requirements.

Want to film your own Jewellery and Watch making content? Our workshop/studio is setup for just that and soon you can hire it along with our studio team to spend a day filming your own content and then receive all the footage from the day, ready for you to edit as you need.
