40 WEEK WORKSHOP COURSE
Level 4 Diploma Course Overview
We are pleased to announce the commencement of our advanced long training course, which will begin in October 2026 and will take place on Fridays and Saturdays. Follow on higher level courses will be introduced in coming years giving the applicant the opportunity to become a top end goldsmith over a period of time suitable to them. This new introduction is an additional long course to our current offerings: the Level 4 Diploma, which will span weeks 41 to 80.
This new program is designed to complement the initial 0-40 weeks long course, providing a seamless progression for participants. Both long courses will be conducted once per week and will follow a similar structural design. The principal distinction is that the new Level 4 Diploma course will adjust the focus ratio to 60% on repair/ Restoration and 40% on bespoke manufacturing and stone setting, employing higher skill levels & traditional techniques, everything required to upskill the trainee to more technical and difficult repairing.
