13. PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING & LIVE STREAMING

The Jewellers Academy Yorkshire will offer various courses which are streamed and recorded for the duration of the course for educational, promotional and operational purposes. These activities will not be intrusive nor affect any training within the workshops due to fixed wall mounted cameras. By attending a course, students acknowledge and agree that photography, video recording and filming may take place.

From October 2026, all long courses delivered at The Jewellers Academy Yorkshire will be streamed live globally as part of our professional online training platform.

From 2027, selected short courses may also be streamed live to international students who are participating remotely. These streamed courses may be offered at a reduced price to participating students in recognition that filming and broadcasting will take place.

Students enrolling on streamed courses consent to appearing within live broadcasts, recorded footage, photographs and associated promotional materials. Traditional classroom-based short courses will continue to be offered without filming or live streaming wherever advertised as standard workshop courses at normal retail prices.

Students who do not wish to appear on camera should discuss this with the Academy prior to booking so that suitable arrangements can be considered where possible.
